Branding
Branding
Throughout this module, we were tasked with looking into our personal branding. I found this a continuous struggle as I wanted to take a personal approach, to create branding that represents me and my work as a combined piece. I started with creating a mind map to consider what I could include within my branding, which could be both my logo and business cards. I mostly brainstormed things I love personally, or love to draw, and how I could create these things. Whilst this did help narrow in on some ideas, I still struggled. I decided to create a few business card ideas to inspire me, as they're very creative and I could ask around with my peers and family to see which people as a collective prefer.
The three below are the final sketch ideas I came up with for the business card designs. The designs are all based off of parts of my art style, although the second design is focused more on me personally as the dog is my pet. The girl portrait was based off of a Pinterest photo of a model I found, and whilst pretty it certainly wasn't my favourite as I feel it doesn't represent my art.
Out of the three, the first with the wolf caught the most attention by a mile. I agree with the overall vote, as I personally loved the design of the wolf more, and feel it would represent my style of art a lot more. This will be developed further, alongside any ideas I come up with for my logo.
